Kaya visual art


Kaya Cheung born in Hong Kong.
He is a Hong Kong based contemporary Chinese ink artist.Graduated from BA in design (Visual communication), Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In 2009, with the Chinese University of Hong Kong Sign Language communicative plan obligatory to draw pictures of the deaf children illustration book series, held the first personal illustration work exhibition - "Insects. Illustration Exhibition."

In 2009-2014, Kaya setup a art educational press called " Hong Kong visual art magazine/ HKVAM" with local artists. HKVAM mainly introduce local art to public and local school for education. Kaya also travelled to Europe for 10 countries and travelled to Balkan in Eastern Europe to experience local art, culture and history in 2012. After the trip, he and his friends created a several art exhibition to share the art experience in Europe at Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre ( JCCAC) .

Recently, He has also participated in the "Artists in the Neighbourhood Scheme 2016" organized by the Hong Kong Government's Office of Art Promotion / Hong Kong Baptist University School of Visual Arts. Kaya was selected ”The new wave of Millennial Artistry / New Wave of Art in Millennium”/K11HK, and the art of collaboration with K11HK art shopping mall –Chinese New Year event "Happiness comes in waves", and launches the New Year 2018 art collection commemorative edition. In addition, Kaya also participated in different art fairs, art festivals and exhibitions at China and overseas.
