Stacie Coplon grew up in Virginia Beach and started painting at the age of 16. At age 23, while Stacie was living in Raleigh, North Carolina, she found a love for sharing her work with the public while renting studio space in The Raleigh Triangles' well known Roundabout Art Gallery. It was there Stacie grew as an artist, she started working on commissions, and became further involved in the art community. She has created several donation pieces for schools and her favorite charity Artists for Africa. Stacie has hosted several exhibits of her art and has also painted a mural in Downtown Norfolk Granby Street for a local restaurant. When asked how to describe her art, Stacie describes herself as an abstract texture artist. In her work you will see a great deal of layers, mediums, pastes, pours and forms of paint, typically acrylic.
